Ancestry Tours

If you have Scottish or Irish ancestry we can help connect you to your roots. On one of our private, individually curated tours you can choose to visit the town or village your ancestors came from and also meet with local historians, genealogists and archivists who can give you an insight into how your ancestors lived and the reasons why they may have emigrated.

As I approached my 80th birthday, I wanted to make a pilgrimage to Scotland, where my Irish ancestors passed through on their way to America ( which they called “New Island”). I selected Kirsty, from a large group of tour options and I am so glad I did!

I knew what I hoped to accomplish and Kirsty’s help was invaluable. She selected extraordinary hotels, restaurants and museums and made all the arrangements. The driver she assigned to me was knowledgeable and personable. What I most appreciated was Kirsty’s responsiveness. On the eve of my visit, I learned a bit about one of my ancestors and asked her if she could help me research the information- within 48 hours, Kirsty had located a genealogist whose specialty was exactly what was needed to verify the information and arranged for him to meet with me during my visit. This was all less than one week before my trip. At the meeting the genealogist had already not only verified the information but expanded upon it, even located a picture of my ancestor, a WWII veteran. Kirsty’s help for my trip was priceless.
